Happy halloween! Again...

The older I get it seems the more options I run out of as of what to dress up as for Halloween.

This year me and my 3 best friends had thee best costume idea!! But last minute Candice's grandpa passed away and so she had to go to Idaho. So me and Shelby came up with a last minute costume.
I think we did pretty good:) haha tourists for life!:)

So then later that night Candice got home and the real costumes came out.

Yep- good old fashioned polygamists. We had a husband as well but we didn't get a picture with him. Haha but in all seriousness those 3 girls really are my sisters. I love them so much and don't know what I would do without them.

Miss moving on

This week<<<< haha I can't remember a time when I was more stressed and exhausted.

It's just been a crazy week of moving, moving on, and moving forward.

I lost feelings that I never thought I would. It was surreal, but it was best. I was freed from what felt like chains. Now I feel as though I can be myself and branch out of my turtle shell.

We moved houses! We moved up the hill by the temple. We are starting over. Starting new. We had been in our old ward for 11 years. And when we found this house we knew it was where Heavenly Father wanted us to go.

So I guess you can call me...

High school

High school. The place before we are let loose into the world like sitting ducks waiting for the predators to come and adopt us into the reality we call life.

It's glorified in movies and Hollywood. But is nothing similar to that.

It's where groups and cliques are formed. Where status quo is the flow. It's when those "friends" you had in junior high- you won't even talk to. When everything changes.

It's the barb wire fence separating you and the rest of your life. It's when your most embarrassing stories are made and when your first impression becomes the thing that follows you throughout those 3 years.

It's the awkward stage. The invincible stage. The stupidity stage. The journey is finding yourself thru a maze of ridicule and social awkwardness. It's the time when you either find your voice... Or you keep it secret from everyone around you.

It's highlighting the smart kids, athletic scholars, and outstanding attendance students. While the mediocre kids just blend.

We're a sea of nothing but walking, learning, robots. We go from day to day doing and repeating the same routine every day. We don't stand out. We don't stand up. We don't make a difference. We're just.... There.

For some it's the cherry on top of their sundae of life. It's everything that they'd intended to get out of high school. The cheer captain gets prom queen. The star football player makes the winning touchdown. The straight A student gets valedictorian.

Nothing changes. It's all a stereotype. It's all something that we've all heard and read before in every movie, book, and magazine. It's cliques and groups and stereotypes.

It's high school.

Wonderful end to a wonderful season

So I'm heading home from California right now!

It's over. Cheer. My season with my team is..... Done.

It's been my life- my second family- my everything for the past 9 months.

My team became more than a team, they were my family and I got closer to them than anybody. We relied on each other, we each others support system.

So we came to San Diego, California to compete at nationals for the last time this season.

We absolutely ROCKED our routine!!! We were so proud and knew whatever happened, happened. But we were proud of ourselves.

We got second!!:) we did so good and I love my team:) and on top of that I had a great vacation with my wonderful team! :)

What a great season it's been:) see ya next year twisters:)

16

Wow being 16 is great! :) I get to drive around with all my friends, date people, and can hang out till all hours of the night:) (or 11:30) but hey it's good:)

I seriously am at good place in my life. I am happy with the friends I've surrounded myself with, and the choices I'm making. I couldn't do it without my friends and family's help tho.

This past week was spring break. As I did have A BLAST with my friends:) the highlight of my week was getting to go to the temple with two of my best friends.

I got to go to the you g women's broadcast with them, and I got to watch conference with them also:)

I am so lucky to have good friends who love me and inspire me, and help me make right choices. I love them.
